Make Space Studio is a real estate development and placemaking studio. Simply put, we compile objects and thoughts and express them in the built environment. We create and build our ideas.
We create because we are curious. We believe that all living things have energy. A vibration. We make spaces. Our ethos is grounded in the philosophy that “action creates clarity”. Our spaces, neighborhoods and programs are designed to push the envelope of what is possible in a given space with the resources you are allocated. We do this by using art and culture as the catalyst. Only through this lens can the impossible be made actual.

Executive Director & Project ManagerYou can find me between the worlds of social design and professional daydreaming, impassioned and energized by ideas that push the envelope of what is possible. Using spaces to transform and test out ideas. Creative problem solver; interested in learning, exploring and testing out simple solutions for complex problems. Remaining steadfast in purpose; knowing that flexibility and adaptability are the only ways to get there. Fueled by coffee, lemon juice and fermented grains.

Communications CoordinatorI am a community builder who is fueled by a heart for justice and a vision for transforming big ideas into real world impact. I work at the intersection of community, creativity, change, social work and impact. I am passionate about building spaces where people can connect, collaborate, grow and feel supported and empowered. When I’m not organizing, planning, or advocating, I am probably daydreaming with my head in a book, R&B playing in the background, and my third cup of coffee and an itis-inducing meal not too far away.
